A shared love of naked truth, courage and community brought together the volunteer team that organizes Armchair Bend, a platform for sharing stories never previously told from a stage.
Storytellers and appreciators gather on a quarterly basis at the TIN PAN THEATER, an artistic micro theater in Bend, Oregon that accommodates 29 people in vintage seats (and many more standing.) In this intimate space we share the experience of hearing adventures parlayed, guts spilled and uncertain fates revealed.
We take inspiration from the surprising places that perfect strangers transport us to with their stories.
Come celebrate with Armchair! Several featured storytellers will share a personal and true story no longer than 15 minutes, based on the theme Pretender. Two or three audience members will also have the chance to sign up to tell a short on-theme story.
$10 ADVANCE ONLY (Tickets will be available via Tin Pan's site. All sales will be online, so get them fast as they go like little hot cakes.)
January 17th theme: “Wrong Turn" Please submit your brief on-theme story idea here, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. Keep the stories coming!
